Sweet Surrender

I worked in 3 stages at Sweet Surrender:
Phase 1 - Game and Level designer: Level Design: Developed creative and intuitive layouts for player engagement. Game Design: Ensured weapon balance and designed enemy spawn behaviours.
Phase 2 - Unity developer: Role as Unity Developer: Focused on game development and programming. Bug Fixing: Addressed and resolved game issues. Implemented Player Feedback: Integrated suggestions to improve the gameplay experience.
Phase 3 - Unity developer and Project Lead:
Led and implemented 3 significant updates with several hotfixes for Sweet Surrender. Managed a team of up to 3 people. Made critical game design decisions. Continued bug fixing and integrating player feedback.

Unancounced VR Coop Shooter

Project Lead | Lead Developer

As Project Lead and Lead Unity Developer for an unannounced VR co-op shooter, I led a cross-functional team from prototype to polished vertical slice. I directed the creation of the game's MVP, implemented core mechanics and multiplayer systems using both Mirror and Unity Netcode, and established the core architecture. Throughout development, I ensured high code quality, guided the team through agile sprints, and contributed to narrative and game design. My responsibilities also included shaping the pitch deck, supporting recruitment and team development, and delivering multiple updates based on internal and external feedback—resulting in a stable, publisher-ready vertical slice that reflected a clear, engaging vision.

Option 3 (Vertical Slice)

With funding from the FFF Bayern, I was co-founder of Two Pencils UG. With that Company, we developed Option 3. ​

 

Option 3 is a 3rd-person base defence game, wrapped in an open world story. The player, who grew up on a lifeless planet, crashlands by accident on a future version of Earth. There, scientists have developed a new ecosystem within a gigantic dome. Diverse biomes contain miscellaneous animals and plants.

 

During the day, the player has to venture out to collect resources so they can repair their base. In addition to that, they use these resources to upgrade their base defences, as the animals which the player encountered during the day will attack them at night. The game’s story is about truth, moral, and the limits of mankind, and can be discovered by exploring the world and having conversations with the mysterious observer.

As a Unity Game Developer at LYMB.iO, I was responsible for the full development cycle of over 25 interactive games, sport trainings, education games and innovative prototypes for custom low-level hardware-based sport touch walls—ranging from concept and prototyping to optimization and deployment. I developed performant, maintainable, and user-friendly applications using Unity, working in close coordination with hardware and software teams to ensure stable performance even on constrained systems. My role combined strong software architecture skills with a refined sense for game design, enabling me to deliver engaging, audience-focused experiences across gaming, training, and educational domains. I also handled the selection and integration of assets (2D/3D, UI, audio) and communicated clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to support an efficient, interdisciplinary development process.

Eris Universe

Eris Universe is a hand-drawn, arcade-style top-down space shooter that I independently developed in Unity. The game follows a young boy who sets out to uncover why he's suddenly being attacked—embarking on a journey through the universe in his spaceship. I handled the full development, including gameplay programming, asset integration, and visual effects. A friend supported the project by providing feedback on game design, assisting with QA, and helping with marketing efforts. The result is a fast-paced, visually distinctive shooter with a personal, story-driven twist.

Alone

Alone is an Android strategy/survival game that I developed solo in Unity. The game centers around a stranded boy on a mysterious island who must defend himself, build strategic defenses, and uncover the island’s dark secrets. Blending survival gameplay with tower defense mechanics, Alone challenges players to manage resources, survive waves of enemies, and explore their environment. I handled the entire development process independently—from concept and gameplay design to programming, UI, and mobile optimization.

Whispers in the dark - Game Jam

The game is designed as a 2-Person local Co-op game. Both players use the same computer and the same keyboard. While one player is allowed to see the screen the other player is allowed to use a headset. Thus one player can see and the other player can hear. Together they have to navigate through the world and avoid obstacles
